Skytrek Aerobatics

Skytrek Flying School offer training designed to substantially increase the safety and pleasure of your flying. All of our courses are conducted by CAA approved Aerobatics Instructors.

Our Basic Aerobatics course is structured to enhance confidence and safety training in developing your skills as a Pilot. You will learn through classroom theory and flying practice the basic aerobatic manoeuvres such as the loop, roll, stall turn and spin in our popular Cessna 152 Aerobat aircraft. The Basic Aerobatics Course is your first step towards flying more advanced manoeuvres and is designed to cover recreational aerobatics with competition standards in mind.

Skytrek aerobatics courses comprise the Skytrek Aerobatics Certificate five hours minimum or the nationally recognised AOPA "The Basic Aerobatic Course" eight hours minimum. The AOPA course in association with the British Aerobatics Association (BAeA) is structured to cover the learning of the basic aerobatic manoeuvres required to take part in Beginner competition events organised by the BAeA.

Courses or flights can be tailored to your needs such as aerobatic check-outs for those who have some experience, to those who want to learn how to spin an aeroplane and safely recover. We also cater for those Pilots whom wish to develop their flying skills from basic flying to advanced turning and recovery from unusual attitudes and for the more adventurous, advanced aerobatics training is available.
