Phil Cole wins Skytrek inaugural NavEx Competition
Excellent blue skies and temperatures in the 30's, the 2010 Navigation Exercise Competition was won by Phil Cole in G-CEWK. Phil wins the 1st place trophy and immortality on the Skytrek NavEx shield on display in the clubhouse.
There was in fact a tie for first place with the G-CEFM crew of Dave Walters & Brian Gambell, so the tie breaker of the nearest to the time the team said they would take to complete the competition came into play. Phil Cole returned an amazing 48 seconds over his time and Dave Walters was 3m 48 seconds over his so, Phil wins!
In third place was the duo of Tom Martin & Laurie Hinds in G-BIIB, if only they had scored on the picture round!
